Madonna Sued By New York Neighbor
Madonna has turned her Central Park West apartment into a dance studio, and according to a neighbor it should get her evicted.
Karen George filed a lawsuit yesterday at the Manhattan Supreme Court. The suit claims "Madonna and one or more of her invited guests repeatedly dance and train . . . to unreasonably high-decibel, amplified music, causing noise and vibration to pour through the walls, ceilings and radiators,"
Ms. George lives above the pop icon's seventh-floor apartment.
The first complaint made by George was in 2008 and says nothing has been done since. A suit has also been filed against the building board saying "Ms. George has been forced to endure blaring music, stomping and shaking walls for approximately one and a half to three hours each day,"
The buildings board said they have already threatened to evict Madonna.
Madonna's spokeswoman and management company have both declined for a comment.
