Madonna Talks About Prop 8

Public feels she didn't show support.

There is no doubt that Madonna has a legion of fans in the gay community and is a supporter of gay rights. However, some feel wronged by the diva when it comes to discussing Prop 8.

Proposition 8 has become a part of many heated discussions during the political season because of its plan to overturn the legalization of same-sex marriages in California. While Madonna has been speaking out during her "Sticky and Sweet" tour about her passion for Barack Obama and her disgust for Sarah Palin, she had not mentioned anything about Prop 8.

E! reported that she didn't even say anything about it at her concert last Saturday in San Francisco. However, she finally opened up at her concert last night in Los Angeles.

According to a concertgoer, Madonna said, "I am very sad to hear we didn't win Proposition 8. But we will not give up the fight. No, we will not. Never! If we got an African-American in the White House, we can have gay marriages."

While Madonna's rep said to E!, "The one thing I do not have to do is defend Madonna's very very heartfelt and extensive commitment financially, verbally and numerous other ways to gay rights in the course of her career."

A concertgoer had something different to say: "Too little, too late Madge. Where was your money and influence before the vote?"
