Madonna Tries to Adopt Another Malawi Child

Madonna applied for another child from Malawi, despite the attack on her morals, or lack thereof from the local government.

The papers cleared to process, despite the courts considering the well-being of Madonna's next child, reports the Daily News.

David Banda, Madonna's 3-year-old son, was also adopted from Malawi, according to SF Examiner. She adopted David last year, despite the laws prohibiting non-residents the ability to apply, according to Reuters.

The multi-platinum singer also has a 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes, and an 8-year-old son, Rocco.

Madonna first traveled to Malawi while filming a documentary on AIDS and poverty in Africa, reports Daily News.

The pop star, who became recently divorced, is on a break from her "Sticky and Sweet" tour.

Although no date is set, Madonna is expected to appear in Africa before the end of the month to meet with the Malawi courts.
