Madonna to Visit Workers Injured in Stage Accident
The singer plans to visit some of the workers injured in the roof collapse that killed two.
According to the Associated Press, Madonna is scheduled to visit some of the eight workers who were injured while assembling a stage for the singer's Marseilles concert.
The mayor's office in the French port of Marseilles has reportedly confirmed Madonna's expected appearance at two hospitals Sunday night.
The Marseilles concert scheduled for Sunday night was canceled after the accident at the Velodrome stadium on Thursday. The roof of the stage collapsed on the workers while it was being assembled, leaving eight injured and two dead.
After visiting the hospitals, Madonna is expected to continue her tour in Barcelona, Spain on Tuesday.
