Madonna Visits Victims of Stage Accident
Pop superstar Madonna paid a visit to some of the workers who were injured in a stage accident for one of her shows in France.
On Sunday (July 19), Madonna went to see some of the eight workers who were hospitalized when the roof of the stage they were working on for her concert in Marseilles, France collapsed on them. Two others were killed during the accident on Thursday (July 16).
Madonna has said she is "devastated" by the deaths, according to BBC News.
Madonna's concert that was scheduled for Sunday night at the Velodrome stadium in Marseilles was cancelled.
BBC reported that prosecutors have opened an investigation for manslaughter and involuntary injuries in a work-related accident.
The next stop on her tour is in Barcelona, Spain on Tuesday.
