Madonna is set to debut the lead single from her new album, MDNA, on American Idol Thursday night. Titled “Give Me All Your Luvin,'" the track features rappers MIA and Nicki Minaj and was produced by French DJ Martin Solveig.

“Give Me All Your Luvin’” will be available for purchase on Friday. The more down-tempo hit “Masterpiece” is already available, but fans will have to wait until March 26 for the full album.

In an interview with MTVNews, Madonna promised MDNA will be an upbeat, fierce, and intense album. “I think the majority of the record is more action-packed,” she said, “More high-energy.”

Of course, Madonna’s appearance this week is in anticipation of her Super Bowl XLVI halftime performance this Sunday. According to The Guardian, more than 100 million people are expected to watch the football game, many of which will also catch the halftime set.

A press release stated that the video for “Give Me All Your Luvin’” features a football and cheerleader theme, undoubtedly a perfect choice of song for the Super Bowl.

On January 27, Nicki Minaj created major hype with her tweet, “Super Bowl rehearsals w/ the Queen ;)”. MIA is also expected to appear as part of the halftime extravaganza.
