Maggie Grace Returns to 'Lost'

Maggie Grace, who played Shannon in the early seasons of Lost, is set to return for the show's final season.

Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, two of the show's executive producers, confirmed the news to EW.com but did not reveal how they plan on bringing back a character who died more than three seasons ago.

"We’re really excited about having her back on the show, and we have a good story for her,” Cuse explained.

Grace left the show in the second season after her character was shot and killed. The actress did return for an episode in the third season but has not been heard from since, and the producers would not specify how many episodes Grace would be a part of in the final season.

Grace is not the only actor returning to the show for the final season. Among the others returning are Harold Perrineau, Cynthia Watros, and Rebecca Mader.
