The Major Reason to Watch ‘Human Target’

FOX’s new show is super energy charged.

So, I’m pretty sure very few people have missed Fox’s attempts to majorly promote their new series Human Target. But in case you were shying away from the show because you thought it was just another one of those good guys vs. bad guys action dramas, I have two words for you: Mark Valley.

Mark Valley previously had recurring roles on the television shows ER, Boston Legal, and Fringe. But now he’s heating up Fox on the new show adapted from a comic book.

Valley plays the show’s main character, Christopher Chance who’s a bit of a detective, bodyguard, private contractor, and an American James Bond all rolled into one. Each week, he has a new client to protect, and by the end of episode has usually experienced multiple life threatening situations.

Though I’ll admit that it definitely suggests a resemblance to shows like 24 and Alias that thrive on over the top plot lines and a lot of gunfire and things blowing up, it’s hard to ignore how captivating these types of shows are.

The mysterious nature of Valley’s character also makes you want to keep tuning in to figure out who Christopher Chance really is since so many details of his character are kept hidden.
