Mama Spears Says Daughter Had Sex at 14

Lynne Spears isn't holding anything back for the promotion of her new tell-all book. She claims daughter Britney was drinking, having sex and experimenting with drugs as a teen.

Britney Spears was not so innocent even before she became a pop princess, according to mom Lynne Spears's new tell-all book, reports Fox News.

In her book, Spears said her troubled daughter, Britney, lost her virginity at the tender age of 14 to a high school football player in Kentwood, La.

Spears's book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, reveals some rocky teen years for the pop tartlet.

Spears also says her daughter began drinking at the age of 13, when she was still a Mouseketeer. By the age of 15, Britney was experimenting with drugs. By age 16, Britney was caught on a private jet in possession of cocaine and marijuana, Spears said.

She believes her daughter's wild teenage years are the root of Britney's problems today.

Spears admitted that she regrets allowing her daughter to become a sex object by losing control of Britney's career. She blamed the industry for promoting her sex image and thrusting her into raunchy videos.

She also admitted to allowing her 16-year-old daughter to have sex with then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. She said she went along with the lie of her daughter saving herself for marriage but that it was just a hoax.

Justin Timberlake told reporters in 2003, "[Britney] lost her virginity a long time ago - and I should know."

Excerpts regarding Spears's younger daughter, Jamie Lynne, were not immediately available.

Spears's tell-all will be released Sept. 16.
