Man Charged with "Sopranos" Actor Found Guilty of Murder

He has not yet been sentenced.

A man who was charged alongside Sopranos actor Lillo Brancato, Jr. has been found guilty of murdering a police officer during a burglary.

Steven Armento, 51, has not yet been sentenced, but faces life in prison without the potential for parole after a jury of his peers found Armento guilty of first degree murder Thursday.

He committed the felony on Dec. 10, 2005 and then killed Daniel Enchautegui.

The sentencing for Armento is scheduled for Nov. 14.

Brancato, 32, has appeared in A Bronx Tale as well as the second season of The Sopranos. He is scheduled to stand trial next month on second-degree murder charges.

The reason for the lesser charge was because Armento shot Enchautegui with a .357 Magnum.
