Man Claiming to be Octuplets 'Father' Wants DNA Test
According to BBC, a former partner of Nadya Suleman is demanding a paternity test, stating he donated sperm three times to the woman who just gave birth to octuplets.
Denis Beaudoin has requested the DNA testing, but said he would help raise the children no matter what the results of the tests are.
According to ABC News, Suleman has denied Beaudoin asthe father, but has agreed to the testing.
Beaudoin said he was "shocked and surprised" that Suleman had given birth, and he did not believe he was not the father.
"It just seems like a lot of her statements that she's made have been really inaccurate," Beaudoin said.
He went on to say, "She initially told me the whole reason for donating sperm in the first place was to get pregnant, because she was not going to be able to have kids. And it has turned into this."
Suleman gave birth to eight babies, nine weeks premature on Jan. 26. The births were initially lauded as medical marvels. However opinion began to change as it was revealed that Suleman lived with her mother, already had six other children, and was receiving state aid.
Beaudoin said he donated sperm to Suleman three times after she had ovarian cancer and was unable to conceive children on her own, according to ABC's Good Morning America.
