Mandy Moore Is Enjoying Married Life

Marriage is such a mark of adulthood, the singer told People magazine.

In the past year, Mandy Moore has experienced her share of changes. The singer recently became Mrs. Ryan Adams, and recorded her sixth record - a folk album. Moore is settling into her new life nicely, but still feels as though it is all surreal.

"Marriage is such a mark of adulthood in my mind," Moore, 25, told People magazine. "It still feels not entirely real. Things are wonderful, and there's such a peaceful settledness about it. But sometimes I can't wrap my head around it. It seems bizarre but really cool at the same time, like, 'Wow – I did that!'" Moore said.

On March 10, Moore wed singer-songwriter Ryan Adams in a low-key ceremony in Savannah, Ga.

"I'm enjoying life, but I was enjoying it before [marriage] too," Moore said. "It's not like, 'Oh, my life is complete now.' I just have this extra incredible bonus of my best friend in the whole world, getting to spend every day with him," Moore said.

Moore's new album, Amanda Leigh, is now available in stores.
