'Off the Map': Will it return for a second season?

Despite a cliffhanging season finale, Off the Map still seems unsure of its future with ABC.

According to TV Squad’s most recent list, Off the Map is "on the bubble" for renewal for a second season.

TV Series reports it seems the medical drama may get the ax, with ratings below No Ordinary Family, which is almost certain to get cut.

Even though the tropical medical drama was produced by Shonda Rhimes – who produces the hit drama, Grey’s Anatomy, which is certain to be renewed – viewers seemed less impressed and tuned in less to Off the Map.

But with ratings that started out less-than-stellar and only declined, it seems the unanswered questions asked by the show’s season finale will remain forever unanswered.
