It looks as if Mariah Carey has gotten herself sent to the doghouse by New York veterinarian, Dr. Cindy Bressler. According to the Associated Press, the vet is suing Carey for approximately $30,000.
Bressler, who tends to the singer's three Jack Russell terriers, claims that she never received a balance of $29,559 for more than a month of services. Carey had only paid $8,231.50 to the vet.
TMZ reported that while Carey was filming Precious, Bressler was in charge of all grooming and feeding for the dogs, Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ. The vet had also delivered Dolomite last year.
Bressler "specializes in small dog internal medicine and her clientele includes 'prominent New Yorkers and celebrity clients,'" as Popeater revealed. Her lawyer declined to make any further comments.
A rep for Carey told Gossip Cop that "Mariah's legal team is unaware of any lawsuit that has been filed."
Carey and husband Nick Cannon recently welcomed Jackie Lambchops, the singer's fourth pup, this month. The puppy was born to Cha-Cha as Carey revealed on her Twitter page.
