Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza engaged (Video)

After welcoming a child together in September 2010, Mario Lopez has proposed to his girlfriend Courtney Mazza during a vacation to Mexico over the holidays.

In front of friends, family, and a television crew, the Extra host popped the question to Mazza, which he previewed on the show’s website.

Before asking her, he told the camera “I've come to the realization that I'm never going to meet another woman as special and amazing as the one I have, and I think she's finally succumb to my pressure and will take me.”

Before crossing himself, Lopez said “The sun's almost setting, the family's there and [so are] my friends. We're good to go."

The proposal will air on Extra on Wednesday night, and although it’s very likely she will say yes – we will have to watch to find out.

Assuming she accepts the ring, People reports that this will be 38-year-old Lopez’s second trip down the aisle.

He was briefly married to Ali Landry in 2004. They dated for five years before tying the knot, only to get their married annulled two weeks after the wedding.
