Marion Cotillard’s stalker, Teresa Yuan, was arrested on Thursday for sending the French actress threatening messages.
According to Reuters, Yuan sent a video via e-mail to a fan club website. “The guilt and sorrow I feel now, I won't feel after it happens,” Yuan said in the video. “After it happens I'll feel no regret whatsoever ... that's apparently how it feels to be a killer, to be a murderer."
NBC Chicago reports that Yuan also told the actress that she knew her travel schedule and intended to meet her. The terrified actress reported this to the FBI, who arrested Yuan. The FBI complaint mentioned that Cotillard and her family had “become concerned for their physical safety."
Yuan was released on Friday on $50,000 bail, NBC Chicago reports. However, Yuan is not allowed to contact Cotillard, according to government orders.
Cotillard has won an Oscar for the French movie La Vie en Rose, and she has also starred in a few Hollywood films, such as Inception and Midnight in Paris.
