Marisol Nichols Romances Chris O'Donnell on NCIS: LA

Marisol Nichols current show may be going up in flames but she has already been cast in a steamy new role on NCIS: Los Angeles according to TVGuide.com.

Nichols, who is currently staring on ABC’s (most likely) failing vampire drama, The Gates, has been cast as Callen’s (Chris O’Donnell) former partner.

The two must have had an interesting partnership because rumor has it that the two will lock lips when Nichols shows up in the sixth episode of the season entitled “Stand Off”.

"The role's booked as guest star/recurring," says Nichols, so perhaps Nichols will stick around for a while as a love interest for lonely G. Callen. Hopefully Sam won’t get jealous of Nichols dropping in on their bromance.

Nichols also appeared with O’Donnell in the Oscar-winning film, “Scent of a Woman” in 1992.

NCIS: LA kicks back into action on Tuesday, September 21 at 9/8c on CBS.
