Mark Wahlberg Plans to Marry Soon
The A-list actor is ready to wed.
Star of The Happening Mark Wahlberg and his longtime girlfriend, Rhea Durham, are planning a walk down the aisle together this summer, after their third child is born.
"[I]t's going to be a beautiful occasion. Very intimate," Wahlberg told People in Boston before a film screening. While the details are still being planned, he added that their two children, Ella, 4, and Mike, 2, could be the flower girl and the ring bearer, "if they want to be."
"We've been very fortunate. We've waited and worked hard to really strengthen our relationship. We want it right," the 37-year-old actor said. "We're ready. I'm ready. She's been ready, but I think you know, we both come from broken homes and we want to succeed."
