Marlan Wayans in G.I. Joe

Marlan Wayans is at it again and this time he is in army fatigue. His latest venture will be in the movie G.I. Joe where he will be portrayed as Ripcord the leader of the military unit. "Shooting is scheduled to start next month for an Aug. 7, 2009 release" says Variety News. Wayans will be co-starred by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, known for acting in 3rd Rock from the Sun. "Wayans most recently starred in Little Man and The Ladykillers and is now developing a cop action spoof for Paramount with brothers Shawn and Keenen Ivory Wayans" says Variety. This comedic dual of Wayans and Gordon-Levitt should be a sure crowd pleaser.
