Marriage Is Dead for Marilyn Manson

The rock star's wife files for divorce amid difficult communication between the couple.

Marilyn Manson's wife, Dita Von Tesse, filed for divorce from the shock rocker Dec. 29, putting an end to just one year of marriage.

Von Tesse, a burlesque dancer, cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for the split and requested that Manson not receive spousal support, E! News reported.

Relations between the couple have been rocky as of late. A source told the New York Post that Von Tesse was unable to contact Manson to even tell him about the divorce.

"He's not been responsive," the source said. "She loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can't even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn't even noticed."

The couple were married Dec. 3, 2005 after dating for almost five years.

Manson is notorious for his controversial music, which includes hit albums Mechanical Animals and Antichrist Superstar.
