Mary Hart, 60, had announced that she would be stepping down from her position as host of Entertainment Tonight after almost 30 years.
Her final taping was today, and she was surprised with a party at the end of her final segment.
Many familiar faces joined Hart to celebrate nearly three decades as a host on ET. Former co-hosts John Tesh, who hosted by Hart’s side from 1982-1986, Bob Goen (1993-2004) and Robb Weller (1984-1986), were among those faces.
According to People, Natalie Cole sang “Unforgettable” to the host.
Nancy O’Dell is set to fill in the shoes of the longtime host. "Knowing I will pass the baton to Nancy O'Dell makes that decision much easier,” Hart said in November.
The Chicago Sun Times reports that Hart’s last broadcast will air on May 20 at 6:30 p.m.
“I’d been thinking about this for a very long time knowing it would be difficult, and it is difficult,” Hart has said of her departure. “It’s a very strange feeling knowing that I’m doing a final show and actually saying goodbye on the air. It makes me very emotional at times.”
