Mary-Kate Olsen Wants Matters of Wealth Kept Private
Mary-Kate Olsen has spoken out against those who continue to question the wealth that she and sister Ashley have accumulated over the years, WENN reports.
Olsen, who became a star while still in diapers with the hit 1980s show Full House, feels that her wealth is of no business to the outside world. Since then, she and her sister have made more money by launching a merchandising empire. The Olsen twins are estimated to be worth well over $100 million.
However, Olsen is sick of all the talk about money. "It's nobody's business if I am or I'm not (rich)," she defends.
Olsen claims that the only reason she is even in show business is because it is all she has ever known. Had she not starting acting so young, she likely would have pursued other career ambitions, she admits.
"I grew up in it. It wasn't something that I aspired to. It's just something I knew. For me, I just worked. I had a job. I've had a job for 21 years," she summarizes.
