Mary-Louise Parker Joins Michael Douglas Film
It's called "Solitary."
Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker has signed on to star alongside Michael Douglas in Solitary, and she adds another big name to an already solid cast for the independent film. That cast includes Susan Sarandon, Danny DeVito and Jenna Fischer.
The story involves an ex-auto dealership owner whose life - marriage and business - has basically collapsed because of his non-ethical behavior. Parker will play a high-powered Southern woman in Douglas's world.
Brian Koppelman and David Levien will direct the film - which is being produced by Millennium Films.
The film will begin shooting next month in New York.
