Master P, aka, Percy Miller Launches Cable Network

First it was music, then a clothing line. Now it's a new cable TV network for Percy Miller.

A new cable network was launched Thursday by Percy Miller, who is better known as rapper Master P.

The network is called Better Black Television, and Miller hopes that it will provide "positive content for a black and brown culture."

Where this varies from BET (Black Entertainment Television) is that it will have a more family-oriented list of programs.

BBTV will launch in 2009, and will run a wide variety of shows. Everything from unscripted, scripted and news programming will make the air. There will also be comedy, drama, movies, animation, reality, politics, sports and entertainment, children's programming and "responsible hip-hop music and videos."

The advisory board for the network also includes Denzel Washington.
