‘Parks and Recreation’ to be Rescheduled

Congratulations are in order for Amy Poehler, 38.

The star of Parks and Recreation is expecting her second child with Will Arnett. As a result, the Parks recording schedule is going to be rearranged.

Currently, Poehler is at the end of her first trimester. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the pregnancy will not be written into the series.

To work around the pregnancy just as they did during Poehler’s first child, NBC has opted to up production. The network plans to immediately start shooting the third season after the second finishes and record as much as possible. The plan is to stock up on episodes before Poehler gets to the point of being unable to work and has to take maternity leave.

While no due date has been reported, some sources have claimed that the baby will be due in the summer or early fall.
