McCain to Announce Choice for Vice President
Republican presidential candidate John McCain plans to announce his choice for running mate in Ohio.
Bloomberg.com states, "The Arizona senator will introduce his choice for a vice presidential candidate at an appearance scheduled for 11 a.m." This broadcast comes on the heels of Democratic contender Barack Obama's acceptance speech. It seems McCain's timing might take the fire away from Obama's public appearance at tonight's conclusion of his party's convention.
Some of the names being bandied about for the Republican vice presidential nominee are Mitt Romney, who ran against McCain in the Republican primary, along with a blast from the past, 2000 vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman, and former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge.
Win or lose, it's going to be a rocky road for both candidates and voters as they place their future in the hands of each other.
