McCartney and Mills Still Battle in Court to Reach Divorce Settlement
McCartney and Mills will continue divorce proceedings in court, to reach settlement.
For former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney, and future ex-wife Heather Mills, divorce is no piece of cake when billions are at stake.
The Associated Press reports that McCartney, worth around $1.6 billion, and Mills are due in London's Royal Courts of Justice next week, in efforts to finalize their divorce settlement. It is also reported that Mills will represent herself in the settlement proceedings from this time forth.
McCartney and Mills called it quits in 2006, after four years of marriage. The former couple have a child, Beatrice McCartney, born in 2003.
McCartney was previously married to Linda Eastman, with whom he shared a marriage of 29 years. Eastman succumbed to lung cancer in 1998.
