McCready to Serve 60 Days in Prison

Country singer Mindy McCready is preparing to surrender herself to authorities in Tennessee on Tuesday, which will mark the beginning of her 60-day prison sentence.

McCready's attorney reached the deal with Williamson county prosecutors, and the 32-year-old seems willing to do her time for violating her probation stemming from a drug charge.

The singer was charged in June with falsifying her community service records, and she recently released a statement that said she would like to put this whole ordeal behind her to focus on her family and music career.

She is currently in the process of fighting to get custody of her young son, Zander, back.

McCready is best known in sports circles as the alleged mistress of Roger Clemens, who allegedly started seeing the country singer when she was 16. Neither party has confirmed these rumors.
