McGraw Pulls Out of Country Music Awards
Tim McGraw has elected not to perform due to a disagreement with producers.
According to MSNBC, country music star Tim McGraw has decided not to perform in the upcoming 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. According to Entertainment Weekly, McGraw and the show's producers had a "major disagreement."
A representative for McGraw stated Sunday that EW's report on the quick reversal was "accurate."
McGraw is reportedly still set to perform at a tribute to George Strait, who is being given the honor of Artist of the Decade.
The Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony is slated to air Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
