Ed McMahon may have seen a lot during his 84 years, but never foreclosure. E! Online reported earlier today that he had recently fallen behind $644,000 in payments due toward his mortgage loans which totaled at a whopping $4.8 million.

How did this happen to the star who once called Johnny Carson a best friend and the Tonight Show home? According to the New York Times, McMahon's rep said it all began when he broke his neck over a year and a half ago. Due to the injury, he was unable to work and is now suffering the financial consequences.

McMahon may soon be losing his six-bedroom, five-bathroom humble home if he doesn't pay up, and along with it go his A-list neighbors. He and his wife, Pamela, have been in discussion with their creditor and analyzing their options, if there are any.
