Megan Fox Has Not Been Cast as Catwoman

Megan Fox won't be getting catty just yet.

People confirmed that the sexy actress will not be gracing the screen as Catwoman in the next "Batman" film. A Warner Bros. rep said, "It's rumor. It's not true. There is no script. There is no project to be cast in."

Don't discount Fox as a contender for the role. Fox's rep told E! Online, "Megan is a huge fan of the 'Batman' movies and of director Christopher Nolan, but these discussions have not taken place."

Fox seemingly is the perfect actress for the role. As E! Online said, "Megan Fox + sexy role + skintight bodysuit = No-brainer, duh right?"

But E! Online also reported that Rachel Weisz is still the lead contender with Warner Bros. for the Catwoman role.

The rumors about Fox's role in the next "Batman" film began when the British tabloid The Sun reported that the "Transformers" actress would be taking on the role of Catwoman.
