Megan Fox Joins Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig for Upcoming Film, 'Friends with Kids'

Fox will work with Jon Hamm and Kristen Wiig on the upcoming project

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Megan Fox is joining Kristen Wiig and Jon Hamm in the comedy Friends with Kids.

Jennifer Westfeldt wrote the script for the film. In addition, she will direct, star, and executive produce. Westfeldt is set to direct with Mike Nichols and Jake Kasdan. Hamm, who is Westfeldt's partner, will star and executive produce together with Nichols and Kasdan.

"Jen wrote one of the funniest and most original scripts I've read in a long time, the rare great generational character comedy," Kasdan said.

Friends with Kids is about a couple in their thirties, who after observing the stress that kids caused on their friends decided to deal with said stress by having a child and dating other people.

Scott and Westfeldt play the main couple while Hamm and Wiig play another couple. According to reports, there is another couple yet to be cast. Fox will play a girl who starts dating Scott.

The film will be released in April.
