Meghan McCain responds to Bristol Palin's dig in memoir

In Bristol Palin’s new memoir, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant, teen activist and daughter of former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, took a dig at 2008 presidential nominee John McCain’s Daughter, Meghan McCain.

In addition to giving some in-depth details about how her son Tripp was conceived, Bristol wrote that while on the campaign trail, Meghan was “constantly checking us out, comparing my family to hers and complaining,” according to ABC News.

Although a feud between the two would-be first daughters is no breaking story, as Meghan told Jon Stewart during an appearance on The Daily Show that Bristol being a pregnant teen and forced to see an image consultant "does a little bit to your self esteem,” Meghan is taking Bristol’s comments in her memoir in stride.
