Melissa Joan Hart Opens Up

Everyone knows Melissa Joan Hart as sweet, loveable Sabrina on the hit show, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, from 1996-2003, and now as a mom of two. But in an interview with PopEater.com, she reveals another side to herself.

Hart's latest role is the female lead in the ABC Family original movie, My Fake Fiance. She said, "It's different than anything I've ever played before – sort of a know-it-all girl who really thinks she has people figured out. . . . The characters I've played have been a little bit more wishy-washy than that."

And although the public has always thought of Hart as being just as sweet as her character, she admits that it wasn't always what she was like. She said, "If it was 1999 right now, with all the media and the Internet and everything else, I would be in a lot of trouble. . . . I feel like if you had caught me at certain moments, you would have thought I was Lindsay Lohan."

After My Fake Fiance, which premieres April 19, Hart's next project is her dessert shop, Sweetharts, which is opening in L.A. next month.
