Melissa Rycroft is Pregnant!

Melissa Rycroft is trading in her ballroom shoes for maternity clothes. The former Dancing with the Stars and Bachelor contestant is pregnant with her first child. The reality star and her husband, Tye Strickland, shared their exciting news with people.com.

"Apparently Tye and I wanted to see how many life-changing events we could fit into one calendar year," says Rycroft, while sharing her news Wednesday on Good Morning America. "From getting engaged, married, new job, and we are now pregnant." The reality star has also been joking that she currently has a "baby pooch," and "the baby bump will come later."

Rycroft, 27, and Strickland, who is an insurance agent, sealed their engagement with a wedding in Mexico last December.

While in the process of beginning a family, Rycroft has another project. The reality star will co-host the upcoming reality series Bachelor Pad with Chris Harrison. In the meantime, Rycroft is prepping for her newborn and taking care of her pregnancy cravings.

The Examiner reports that Rycroft has been "eating everything in sight" and craving things like sushi and sub sandwiches.
