'Men of a Certain Age' cancelled

The TNT show starring Ray Romano is being taken off the air.

After two seasons, the TNT show, Men of a Certain Age, has been cancelled.

The news comes a day after co-star on the show Andre Braugher scored a second Emmy nomination.

The drama, which starred Ray Romano and Mike Royce, was sinking in low ratings. In the second half of season 2, the show averaged a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49.

The network stated, "While the show has featured great storytelling and impeccable performances, the audience simply hasn’t built to the point where we can continue the series."

According to Entertainment Weekly, the canceling of the show will also make room for TNT's new upcoming drama, a reboot of Dallas, which was a hit in the '80s.

Other scheduling changes to the network are expected to come soon, as new seasons have been approved for Falling Skies and Franklin and Bash.
