Meyer Moves From Vamps to Aliens

Stephanie Meyer, who is known mainly for penning the "Twilight Saga" books, may disappoint many fans when she does not continue the series. When Oprah asked if there would be a fifth book in the series, Meyer's only response was "I don't know." She will continue writing, but she will take her novels in a different direction.

Meyer has written other stories, including her alien sci-fi book, "The Host." Since she is taking a break from vampires, she is going to continue to focus on the alien characters from "The Host." She hopes to be able to turn that into a trilogy.

However, if Meyer decides to go in a different direction completely and move away from the alien realm, she will probably write something that takes place completely in a magical fantasy land.

For "Twilight" fans however, there is nothing to worry about, because the final two books will be in production for their adaptation to the silver screen soon.
