Miami Roman Catholic Priest Falls in Love

A prominent Roman Catholic priest has confessed his love for a woman he's seen pictured with, as reported by the Miami Herald. He also has hopes of taking it to the next level with marriage and children, CBS news reports.

Rev. Alberto Cutie (pronounced Coo-TEE-ay), 40, said in an interview with Univision on Friday, that he is passionate about Ruhama Buni Canellis, 35, a divorced mother also residing in the Florida city.

Cutie mentioned that he has given some serious thought to leaving the priesthood (for approximately a year now), before apologizing about disappointing God and his congregation. However, he does not regret his relationship with Canellis.

According to Miami Herald, Cutie was spotted with Canellis earlier in the week. Photos of the couple were since printed in a Spanish magazine.

Cutie has abandoned his responsibilities as head of the St. Francis de Sales parish in Miami Beach and the archdiocese's international radio network.
