Michael Fassbender talks naked Keira Knightley

Michael Fassbender has had one heck of a year. As if being voted one of the Sexiest Men Alive by People Magazine wasn’t enough, he stars in the upcoming film A Dangerous Method where he can be seen spanking Keira Knightley. Naked.

Fassbender told the Fox411 Pop Tart column that those types of scenes are quite awkward but are just part of the job. Knightley, the consummate professional, made it much easier. Fassbender said, “Keira is a good sport! She’s got a good sense of humor, but I had to make sure I hit the mark and not her ass.” Good thinking Michael.

A Dangerous Method chronicals the story of Dr. Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud as they work through an experimental treatment that Freud developed called the “talking cure.” Knightley, plays Sabina Spielrein, a disturbed and violent young woman who has been subjected to sexual humiliation and physical abuse at the hands of her father. Jung begins treatment on her under Freud’s tutelage until Jung and Spielrein become romantically involved. You can imagine what a big no-no that is, especially in pre-WWI Germany.

The Miami Herald reports A Dangerous Method isn’t the only intriguing movie Fassbender will be seen in this year and into 2012. He’s reportedly signed on to play in the thriller Haywire and a prequel-type to Alien called Prometheus.

A Dangerous Method also stars Viggo Mortensen and opened in limited release on November 23.
