Michael Jackson Film To Premiere In October

The Michael Jackson documentary, "This Is It," is planed to show on more then 15 cities around the world. All the cities have yet to be announced but some of the cities hosting the premieres Oct. 27and 28 are Los Angeles, London, New York, Berlin, Seoul, Moscow, Tokyo, Sydney, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro.

Not all the premieres will take place at the same time. Some of the cities, which have coordinated the first screenings, are Los Angeles for 9pm, New York at midnight and London at 4am.

"This Is It" based on more than 100 hours of footage from rehearsals for the London concerts he had planned to do. The film footage is drawn from preparations for the concert tour in Los Angeles between March and June. Kenny Ortega directs it.

Tickets for "This Is It" go on sale Sept. 27.

Weeks before Michael Jackson was scheduled to start his concert tour, he suffered a cardiac arrest and died on 25 June.
