Michael Jackson Film in the Works?
If a Los Angeles probate judge gives the go-ahead on August 10th, there might be a full-length Michael Jackson film on the horizon. The movie would include footage from Michael Jackson's London Concert rehearsals.
AEG Live, the promoting company in charge of the Jackson London Concert announced the existence last month of the footage and reached an agreement with Colombia pictures and Jackson's party in which the major producer paid $60 million for the right to make the film. The contract also stipulated that the film have a PG rating and not portray Jackson in any negative way.
Whether Jackson's mother, Katherine Jackson, has any objections to the film is of concern to the judge. He has scheduled a hearing on Monday to hear what the Jackson matriarch has to say.
