Michael Jackson Memorial Tickets Being Offerred for Thousands

Even after Michael Jackson's untimely death his loyal fans still continue to seek tickets to see him. Unfortunately, this appearance will not be a concert full of songs and dance moves which made the icon famous. These tickets are to Jackson's memorial service which will be held at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Tuesday.

1.6 million fans registered online in a 32 hour span Friday and Saturday for a chance to gain access to the service. Tickets were released Monday to 8,750 winners who each may bring one guest. Tickets will gain admittance to either the Staples Center or a live simulcast at the Nokia Theatre.

More shocking than the outrageous demand for tickets to the memorial are what some fans are willing to pay for the tickets. Tickets have been offered up for thousands of dollars on Craigslist and EBay. Whether fans are actually willing to dish out thousands to say goodbye to Jackson is still to be determined.

While some fans are capitalizing on tickets to the service others are selling tickets for a more-reasonable $100-$200 and some are even giving tickets away hoping they go to a true fan, who genuinely will miss the pop legend.
