Michael Jackson Rushed to Los Angeles Area Hospital

Michael Jackson was apparently rushed to UCLA Medical Center with cardiac arrest earlier today after being found by fire department paramedics, according to an article in the Los Angeles Times.

Jackson, the 50-year-old father of three, is known to have an extensive medical history that at times has raised eyebrows and garnered unwanted attention from the media. But heart troubles have never been among those issues, to public knowledge.

Paramedics who arrived at the singer's home found that he was not breathing. CPR was performed at the scene prior to Jackson being transported to UCLA Medical Center.

No further details on Jackson's condition were available at press time. Jackson was slated to perform a series of comeback concerts, beginning in England this July.
