Michael Jackson's Medical History Under Investigation

Five physicians are under investigation now.

In the last week, there has been much speculation as to why pop star Michael Jackson suffered cardiac arrest in his home, June 25, and many are saying that prescription drugs may have a lot to do with it.

According to the L.A. Times, the Los Angeles Police Department has executed at least three search warrants in attempts to determine whether prescription medication played a role in Jackson's death.

Also according to L.A. Times, sources that are familiar with the investigation say that the warrants were a part of an effort to reconstruct the star's medical history. This is a task that will be ruled difficult due to the many physicians that treated Jackson over the years.

At the time, at least five physicians who have prescribed the singer with medication are under investigation, according to sources speaking with the Times. According to many reports, police removed prescription drugs from Jackson's home on June 25, the day he passed, only to return four days later and retrieve two bags of medical evidence.
