Michael Jackson's Memorabilia to Go on Tour

The Michael Jackson memorabilia tour was approved by a Los Angeles judge, Friday, to the complaints of Jackson's family.

The Michael Jackson saga seems to be endless, what with movies, music compilations, and now, an exhibition dedicated to the late "King of Pop." The Jackson exhibition, containing the late singer's memorabilia, was given the green light on Friday, much to the chagrin of Jackson's family.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff approved the deal between the executers of Jackson's will and AEG Live-owned Arts and Exhibitions International.

The first stop of the memorabilia tour is at the London O2 arena, where Jackson was to open his comeback tour. It will open around the time of the Oct. 28 theatrical release of the movie, "Michael Jackson: This Is It," which includes behind-the-scenes and rehearsal footage of the "This Is It" concert.

Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson's mother, has objected to the idea, believing it would undermine the late singer's legacy and that it is irresponsible to rush into too many business deals so soon.

The tour would be spread over two years, with a four to six month stop in each city. It is expected to earn over $6 million.
