Michael Jackson's Tribute Moves Fans
Kanye West stole the show with his bully-like behavior against Taylor Swift on Sunday at the Video Music Awards, but originally, the stage was supposed to belong to Michael Jackson.
Madonna delivered a heartwarming tribute speech, and dancers dressed in iconic Jackson garb moved to the beats of "Thriller," "Bad," and "Smooth Criminal." His sister Janet Jackson then entered to perform the number, "Scream" while the music video of Michael and herself from more than a decade ago played on the big screen.
MTV.com reports that the most exciting part of the tribute was the trailer for the documentary about Michael Jackson's preparations for his final tour, "This is It," coming to theaters October 28th.
A fan named Sam commented on MTV's website, "It makes tears flow in my eyes, but also makes me feel proud of this man, who gave his best for his fans. He was a visionary, a loving soul and the best entertainer on earth."
