Michael Lohan Arrested for Breaking Restraining Order

Michael Lohan called his ex-girlfriend, who had a restraining order against him, and was arrested on Monday

Michael Lohan was arrested on Monday, reported TMZ.

Lindsay Lohan’s father was thrown in jail after being arrested for calling his ex-girlfriend.

Michael was arrested in Medford, New York after calling Erin Muller, his ex-girlfriend, who had a restraining order against him.

Lindsay was charged with criminal contempt of court since she has a protection order which restricts Michael from communicating with her by phone.

In April Michael was arrested after threatening to commit suicide and kill Muller when she tried leaving him, three months after his parole, for a 2004 assault, ended.

In May 26 Michael pleaded not-guilty to the second degree aggravated harassment charges.

In November Michael publicly released some taped phone conversations with Lindsay and Dina Lohan, claiming the public needed to hear the conversations in order to help Lindsay with her drug problems. And according to documents he was behind on child support, leading to more than $15,000 debt to Dina and their three minors.
