Michael Moore's New Documentary Set for an Ocotober Release
Michael Moore, of Fahrenheit 9/11 and Bowling for Columbine fame, has created a new documentary that is to come out in October, according to the New York Times. Overture Films and Paramount Vantage film studios said that the film would document, in a humorous way, corporate and political behavior that helped to spark the world's recession.
The Hollywood Reporter said the film is due out on October 2, almost a year to the day since the first economic stimulus package was passed by Congress. Most recently, Michael Moore targeted the crookedness of the healthcare industry in Sicko. According to Reuters, Moore is keeping the film vested - not releasing too many plot details.
Moore won an Academy Award for 2003's Bowling for Columbine and his take on George W. Bush and the war on terrorism in Fahrenheit 9/11 sold $120 million worth of tickets with audiences applauding in theaters at the movie's end.
