Michael Vartan of 'Alias' to Wed

Michael Vartan is officially off the market. The former star of the television show Alias, 41, is engaged to Lauren Skaar. The two plan to marry next year, his rep confirmed to People Magazine.

The couple reportedly met last year in a Whole Foods parking lot in Los Angeles. They got engaged two weeks ago while on a vacation in New York. This will be the first marriage for both.

Vartan’s ladylove is in marketing and advertising. He was previously linked to his Alias co-star Jennifer Garner prior to her relationship and eventual marriage to Ben Affleck.

While he is most famous for his role in Alias, Vartan is also known for starring in Never Been Kissed, Monster-in-Law, and The Pallbearer.

Until his nuptials, the star is keeping busy. He currently stars with Jada Pinkett Smith in the hit TNT series, Hawthorne. Season two is scheduled to begin this summer.
