Michelle Williams on Heath Ledger's death

In the recent issue of GQ Magazine, actress Michelle Williams’ reveals how Heath Ledger’s death really affected her career.

The Inquisitor reports that Williams was filming the movie Mammoth when Ledger passed away. She was also signed on to film Shutter Island and, while she continued with production, she claims she doesn’t remember much of her time on set.

I can't make it stop, I cant make it go away. Trying to find ways to explain it or shield her from it. It's like you're trying to go about your life, and make dinner..but the roof is off of your house, and the walls are falling down."

Williams and Ledger first met in 2004 and acted together in Brokeback Mountain, which scored both of them Oscar nominations. Before Ledger’s death, they were engaged and had a daughter together. In attempts to protect her daughter after Ledger’s passing, Williams said that she almost quit her acting career due to unwanted attention from the media.
